Our Basenjis
Bambi
About: Several "Excelents" and HP. Has been awarded as the best red/ white at our speicality show 3 times! Bambi was born at the Zande kennel in England. I paid Sally and Marwin Wallis- Her breeders- a couple of visits until I finally got her home to Norway 3 months old. Bambi is such a charming little lady. She is my little girl; small, feminine and she loves to hang around her mummy.She has got the most amazing personality with a clear and expressfull language. Just like most basenjis she uses a lot of sound (waoooooor) and paws in her communication. She loves to play with other dogs, and "chase" is her alltime favorite game. If the game gets to voilent, or the other dogs runs to far away, she just returns to her mum and sits with me so that we can watch the game together. Centa is her best friend, and they share almost everything. The two girls play, sleeps and eat togheter, and you can see the joy they have of the others company. Basenjis are pack animals after all. She also proved to be a great mummy for our C- litter. She died a natural death due to a tumour in her head / possibly stroke almost 10 years old. She is deeply missed. Pictures
